As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have contacted Mauricio Pochettino in the last few days.
It’s the first direct approach after last summer when he was in the list of managers since the club fired Graham Potter.
The sports journalist posted on his twitter page on Thursday:

Pochettino, has managed in the Premier League before with Tottenham Hotspur, but he appears to have taken some time out of the game since leaving PSG.
Reports have it that Pochettino was approached by Chelsea intermediaries earlier in the season , but the Argentine was not convinced at that point. However, his interest in Stamford Bridge is long-standing having also spoken to them before Potter was appointed.
Naggelsman and Luis Enrique have also been touted to take over from Lampard at the end of the season.
Since Lampard re-joined the club as manager, Chelsea have lost three out of three games, scoring just once, through a Conor Callagher deflected effort.
Chelsea play Brentford on the 26th of April as their weekend fixture with Manchester United was postponed.
