Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This includes tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company, guiding strategic decision-making, and ensuring the financial health and scalability of our business. Job
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.
- Advise the CEO and executive team on strategic financial decisions.Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, and risk management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Implement financial systems, controls, and procedures.
- Manage capital structure and allocation.
- Support expansion plans, including M&A and strategic partnerships.
- Lead fundraising efforts (equity and debt financing).
- Maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Advise on long-term planning, new programs, and regulatory impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in a high-growth startup environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in using MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
