Responsibilities
- Understands physical commodity risk, market price risk, currency risks, counterparty risk, technology risks, political risk.
- Market and currency risk capability needs to be strengthened.
- This person would play a role in developing these.
- The person would have VPs and a team of analysts / internal auditors to work with.
- Group CFO and CRO could potentially be one combined role if the person has that profile.
Qualification
- The ideal candidate speaks English and French. Would probably have worked for an exchange or in a trade finance team at a wholesale bank.
- Is familiar with working in Africa. Knowledge of commodities.
- Preference for a Nigeria-based candidate.
