Nigerian socialite and reality TV star, Chioma Ikokwu, popularly known as Chioma Good Hair, has called out Nigerian performers over the quality of their stage performances. Taking to Snapchat, the RHOL star expressed her desire for artists to emulate the effort Tanzanian singer Juma Jux puts into his craft.
In her post, Chioma lamented the lack of preparation and effort by some Nigerian artists:
“I wish Nigerian performers would start putting more effort into their performances like Juma did. I find a lot of their performances lazy and lacklustre. It lacks rehearsal & substance. And it’s unfair considering the love their fans show.”
While she acknowledged that some Nigerian performers deliver excellent performances, she maintained that a significant number lack the quality to be on stage.
