Job Description

PayU South Africa is looking for an experience Commercial Lead who has exceptional experience in payments and e-commerce to support in driving the expansion of the product offering in the country and reach the overall business goal.

Responsibilities

  • New lead generation (high velocity hunt),
  • Lead to sale conversation,
  • Pipeline forecasting in line with target (monthly, quarterly, yearly),
  • Upselling and geo expansion on current opportunities,
  • Expanding our market leading products & solutions,
  • Managing the entire sales life cycle from planning to tactical activities for revenue,
  • Understanding customers’ diverse & specific business needs and applying services /product knowledge to meet those needs, factoring in country-wise regulation,
  • Strategizing effective sales plans with leadership teams,
  • Achieving assigned sales quota in designated portfolio and meet assigned expectations for profitability,
  • Strong internal project management with key partners and close collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings,
  • Ensuring all internal portals are updated,
  • Ensuring open and transparent communication between yourself and leadership team.

Qualification

  • Good working knowledge of Payments, Banking and Financial domain,
  • + 5 year’s sales experience in Sales, ideally in similar B2B environment,
  • Strong high tier account management experience,
  • Experience in partnership lead,
  • Prove-track of negotiation skills,
  • Multi-currency, multi-country, multi- regulatory, multi-offering,
  • Cross Functional team experience (different time zones),
  • Experience in budget management, forecasting, pricing, account profitability review,
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast paced environment with the multiple competing priorities,
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all internal and external teams including sales, business development, marketing, and product management,
  • Salesforce experience,
  • Effective and professional team communication,
  • Team player.
