CONTRROL PANEL OPERATOR
The person shall have hands on experience of Refinery Process Operations thru DCS Consoles.
Overview
Panel Operator having proficiency in Operating the Refinery Units from Control Room using Distributed Control System (DCS). The candidates shall have high level of understanding in Refinery operation and should have high level of experience in operating the plant from Control Room using DCS.
Responsibilities
- The person shall be able to operate the assigned section of Refinery Sub-unit independently and taking charge of Plant Operations of specified area from Central Control Room.
- The person shall have hands on experience of Refinery Process Operations thru DCS Consoles.
- The person must have operated refinery plant using different types of DCS Systems.
- The person must be efficient in operating the any of the Refinery Sub-Units as below as per OEM guidelines, procedures and SOPs.
- The person must also be able to handle difficult situations during Plant Operations.
The Refinery Operation in any one of the Refinery sub-unit as below is mandatory. Preference would be given to those having experience in more than one sub-unit operation experience from the list above.
- This position expects plant operation from CCR in different shifts for Plant Operations. The person must be able to operate the plant as per OEM guidelines, work in close working with other Desk Local operators.
- Thoroughly understands Refinery Process Operation activities
- Work directly as control room desk operators to achieve smooth Plant Operations..
Work in close teamwork with other Operations and Maintenance teams and other key internal/external customers to support plant needs.
The Refinery sub-units are as below
- PPU Polypropylene Purification Unit
- MHC Mild Hydro Cracking
- MSB Motor Spirit Block
- RFCC Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking
- RGDU Gasoline Desulfurization Unit
- SRU Sulfur Recovery Unit
- ETP Effluent Treatment Plant
Qualification
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering – 11 years total (4 to 5 years in Panel)
- Experience B.Sc Chemistry – 11 years total (4 to 5 years in Panel)
- Degree in Chemical Engineering – 8+ years total (3 to 4 years in Panel)
