COOKING SHOW HOST-VACANCY AT WHOLE PURPLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic Cooking Show Host to lead our cooking show that will be focused on fresh fruits and vegetables. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthy eating, skilled in culinary arts, and capable of engaging a broad audience to drive interest in our products.

Responsibilities

Show Presentation:

• Host and present cooking shows featuring recipes that highlight our fresh farm produce.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques, provide tips, and share knowledge about fruits and vegetables.

Content Creation:

• Develop and plan episode themes, recipes, and scripts in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams.
• Create engaging, informative, and entertaining content that showcases the versatility of our products.

Audience Engagement:

• Interact with the audience during live shows and through social media platforms.
• Respond to viewer questions, comments, and feedback to build a loyal audience base.

Product Promotion:

• Highlight the unique qualities and benefits of our farm produce in each episode.
• Encourage viewers to purchase and try our products by demonstrating their usage in diverse recipes.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing team to align content with promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Collaborate with chefs, nutritionists, and other experts to enhance the credibility and variety of the show.

Social Media and Online Presence:

• Maintain an active and engaging presence on social media platforms.
• Promote upcoming episodes, share behind-the-scenes content, and create short video clips to attract and retain viewers.

Event Participation:

• Represent the brand at food festivals, cooking demonstrations, and other public events.
• Conduct live cooking demonstrations and engage with attendees to promote our products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cooking show host, chef, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly in preparing fruits and vegetables.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online content creation.
• Passion for healthy eating and sustainable farming practices.
• Creative thinking and ability to develop original recipes and content ideas.

Desired Skills:

• Video production and editing skills.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietetics.
• Public speaking experience.
• Ability to handle live audiences and impromptu interactions.

Working Conditions:

• Studio-based filming with potential outdoor shoots on farms and thereabouts
• Flexible schedule to accommodate live shows and special events.
• Occasional travel for events and public appearances.
