Responsibilities
- meeting and interviewing customers and their representatives to discuss their financial requirements.
- advising clients about mergers, acquisitions, shares, and other large-scale financial activities.
- preparing lending agreements
- producing reports and other documents.
- managing and growing relationships with clients.
- training and supervising junior bank staff.
- Preparation of credit submissions and other documentation related to the transaction approval process (including assistance related to loan syndications, pipeline management, single name strategies, and Exceptions Committee papers) through closing and ongoing monitoring.
- Work in a team environment with Investment Banking, DCM, and FX.
- Follow up and coordinate all deals and requests from clients and coordinate with the Financial Solutions, execution, and other internal teams, external professional consultants
- Engage peers in Risk Management and Credit Portfolio Management in the application for credit and in subsequent administration and monitoring
Qualifications
- Grade Level- (Dm, M)
- FIRST-Class or SECOND -Class Upper degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, law, etc.
- 8 years and above of Corporate banking experience
- corporate bankers from Tier- one banks and have worked in these sectors of corporate banking – Telecoms, FMCG (Manufacturing, Breweries, Consumer Goods, Industrials), Financial Institutions, Power & Infrastructure and Public Sector
