About the job
His/her job is to develop a sales plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the attainment of company sales, goals, and profitability in consultation with the Sales Head/GM Sales. The candidate the sale of the company’s products and services in defined geographical areas. The Sales Executive’s role is to develop customer relationships and intimacy at all levels in the organization. The Sales Executive must effectively network between the customer and our sales team making it easier to channel our products through the customer’s dealer network.
Qualification
- 2 – 5 years experience in selling Smart homes/services with a strong network in Real Estate
- Minimum BSc in Finance, Marketing, digital innovation, or strongly related science field
- Masters Degree/ MBA is an added advantage
- Well exposed to B2C/B2B sales and must have exposure in the related market (Lagos)
- Must Live close to Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
- Must be Tech Savy
- Must possess strong verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- To manage the day-to-day operations of the sales region providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
- To make regular customer visits for sales development and facilitate customers for various projects and probabilities to boost sales.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure a smooth flow of interaction and transaction.
- To assess the various information tools, identify business opportunities, the scope of new product development, and pinpoint bottleneck areas i.e., market threats, competitor’s initiatives, etc. to further increase sales volume, market share, and profitability.
- To make a detailed profile of the customer and build a good customer relationship and intimacy at all levels in the organization or as assigned by the Sales Head/Business Manager.
Sales Growth Targets
- Ensure Sales Targets are achieved as per assigned product and region/key accounts through managing the effective sales strategy and follow-up to ensure accomplishment of sales operational plans.
- To closely monitor the performance of the product ensure customer satisfaction and increase the share of the business over the competition (if any).
Customer Relationship
- To develop a good customer base, manage customer relations, and facilitate business managers/sales heads to organize various business meets/seminars to boost customer intimacy.
- To prepare a plan/schedule of visits and how the intimacy will be achieved at the various levels.
Key Accounts
- To focus actively on Key Accounts and seek support from various functional teams/management where appropriate to ensure prompt solutions to their satisfaction.
- To build accurate and detailed profiling for the key accounts to explore new business opportunities.
Budget
- To prepare a budget for all expenses concerning the meets/seminars to boost customer intimacy which would be discussed/authorized by the Sales Head.
People Management
- Manages effective communication by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, and providing formal and informal feedback on performance and training needs – to maximize subordinate and department performance.
Reporting
- Prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies, and standards.
- prepare a weekly summary report of the sales and collection for the week and monthly sales report.
- Prepare a weekly summary report on the amounts outstanding and follow up on the payments due and ensure the payments are followed up and collected from the customers as and when due.
