Overview
The Creche Staff will be responsible for providing safe, stimulating, and nurturing care for children in the creche area. The staff member will be responsible for supervising and engaging with the children, providing snacks and meals, and ensuring that the environment is clean and tidy.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times. Job
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, story time, and music
- Prepare and serve snacks and meals, following dietary restrictions and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised creche area, ensuring that toys and equipment are cleaned and disinfected regularly
- Monitor children’s developmental progress and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Work collaboratively with other creche staff members and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Understanding of child development and best practices for infant and toddler care
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
