Nigerian businessman and socialite Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, is eagerly anticipating his 37th birthday. Sharing photos of himself in a Scottish outfit on Instagram, he expressed his excitement about turning a year older in just three days. He humorously stated that his focus remains on asking God for more financial blessings.
Three more days to 37. Slide 2 is my mood for life. Steadily asking Almighty God for more money,” he wrote.
In celebration of his big day, Cubana Chief Priest is set to release a new song, with his close friend and superstar singer, Davido, taking on the role of executive producer. In a viral video, Davido revealed that he guided Cubana through the production process, tutoring him on the project.
However, the revelation of Cubana Chief Priest’s age has sparked reactions from fans, with many questioning if he is truly 37. While some playfully doubted his claim, others praised him for all he has achieved at such a young age.
One fan, @Jo_kinsfamfresh, commented,
Lol 37 CP. Stop na. 40+ my guy. Happy birthday. You forgot I went to the same secondary school with you.”
Another, @Nkem_my, wrote,
You’ve accomplished a lot for 37. Happy birthday, Nwanne. More wins!”
Beyond the birthday buzz, Cubana Chief Priest has always been vocal about his outlook on life. Last year, he advised his followers on the importance of maintaining an appearance of wealth, arguing that looking successful opens doors. According to him, “Fake life brings real life. If you don’t add packaging to your life, you will end up suffering.”
He has also emphasized the value of genuine friendships, stating that he has a strong support system of over a thousand people who would help him if he ever faced difficulties. Encouraging his followers, he advised, “Chase real people the same way you chase money because life is about meeting and losing people.”
Earlier this year, Cubana Chief Priest shared a surprising revelation about his past aspirations. He disclosed that he once had dreams of becoming a Catholic priest and even gained admission to a seminary but couldn’t complete the journey. More recently, he has expressed a desire to take his faith more seriously.
Leading by example, he demonstrated his ability to adapt when he flew economy class just to return home quickly and see his son. He encouraged his fans to be flexible in life, emphasizing that the class of travel doesn’t matter as long as one reaches their destination.
Aside from his birthday plans, Cubana Chief Priest has also announced preparations for a major event in honor of his late mother. Next year will mark the 10th anniversary of her passing, and he intends to celebrate her in a memorable way.
Next year will make it 10 years since my mother left. There is a need to celebrate her again. This time, I will lay her to rest properly as someone who truly gave birth to ‘Money Na Water,'” he wrote.
