Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, is in high spirits following his recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Earlier this week, the nightlife mogul, through his close association with music superstar Davido, met the French President and even promoted his restaurant during the encounter.
Taking to Instagram to share more photos from the visit, Cubana Chief Priest expressed how special the moment felt, describing himself as “the chosen one.”
“Ndi Imo🇳🇬 I feel I’m the chosen one. Ebe ihe oma gwuru ka anyi ga ebido. If it ever happens, everywhere go soft like France. Owerri Ricky Rozay, I did put my city on the map.”
Cubana Chief Priest has recently been vocal about his growing spirituality and shifting outlook on life. After participating in the popular Hallelujah Challenge, he declared that “God is premium” and that he represents both God and luxury “because that’s who God is.”
Despite his newfound faith, he still maintains his signature flamboyant energy. Not long ago, he made headlines after promising to legalize cannabis if he ever became the Head of State — a statement that stirred mixed reactions online.
Known for his unfiltered social commentary, Cubana once urged Nigerians to remain flexible in life, noting that flying economy class or first class doesn’t define success — what matters is reaching one’s destination.
Ironically, in a later post, he encouraged his followers to “package themselves” and maintain appearances, claiming that “fake life brings real life” because looking successful opens doors of opportunity.
He has also emphasized the importance of real friendships, stating that even if he falls, he has “a thousand dudes” ready to lift him up. According to him, life is about meeting and losing people, but having the right ones in your corner makes all the difference.
Cubana’s spiritual side was on display when he recently surprised content creator Lucky Udu with a ₦1 million gift. Along with the gesture, he advised him to join the Hallelujah Challenge and “challenge God to make a way where there is no way.”
“Prayer is the master key,” he wrote. “Try to hear both sides of every story before you get involved. It’s well with you, bro.”
Cubana Chief Priest has previously shared that he once aspired to become a Catholic priest, even gaining admission into a seminary before leaving. He believes his early sacraments continue to bless his life, calling them the secret behind his success.
He has since vowed to return to his Catholic roots, admitting that he had strayed for too long and failed to set a strong example for his children.
