The event, a Thanksgiving service at the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Headquarters, was held in memory of the late Nnena Esther Adeleke, Davido’s grandmother.
The service saw the attendance of several high-profile dignitaries, including Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, who is also Davido’s uncle. The music star was also seen conversing with the prominent clergywoman, Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi. In one of the clips from the event, Davido’s father humorously asked the cameraman to focus on the other dignitaries present.

Adedeji Adeleke recently made headlines again with his generous donation of N1 billion to the church during the Thanksgiving service. This act of philanthropy has sparked various reactions online, with some praising the gesture and others expressing their surprise at the amount.
