This achievement underscores Davido’s global stature in the music industry, as the BET Awards is one of the most prominent platforms for Black artists worldwide.
While Davido has faced scrutiny over his personal life, including recent incidents that tarnished his public image, he continues to excel in his professional endeavours.
The controversy surrounding Davido erupted from a single picture shared by a friend, capturing him in an intimate pose with another individual. Subsequently, a video surfaced showing Davido on his knees, although the context of the situation remains undisclosed.
This is not the first time Davido has been embroiled in controversy involving women. Last year, he faced allegations from an American woman named Anita, who claimed he impregnated her, leading to months of public scrutiny.
Despite the ongoing drama, Davido has chosen to remain silent on the matter, with only his team member Israel DMW addressing the issue.
Anita, the woman involved in previous controversies with Davido, has also weighed in on the recent incident, expressing her disapproval. However, she revealed her intention to attend his upcoming show.
