Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya is overjoyed as she marks her first Eid with her family. Sharing her testimony on Instagram, she revealed how God answered their prayers and granted them the blessing of their baby girl. Debbie expressed deep gratitude for love, joy, health, and progress.
In her post, she wrote,
Celebrating this year’s Eid with my family is a blessing and a prayer granted! For days, we prayed and hoped for this day, and God did it!”
Debbie’s journey to motherhood has been anything but easy. In 2023, she tearfully shared the devastating loss of her pregnancy at eight months, describing the pain of losing a child she had already bonded with deeply. However, her story took a turn in 2024 when she gave birth to her baby girl.
Reflecting on her pregnancy journey, Debbie spoke of how God turned around a medical report of high prolactin into a miracle. “The devil tried using my trauma against me, but God stood by me,” she said.
