Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer to drive our online presence and engagement strategies.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive digital marketing plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Utilize market research and audience insights to identify target demographics and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
- Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including social media, search engines, and display networks.
Manage social media presence:
- Oversee the organization’s presence on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create and curate engaging content, including posts, videos, and graphics, to maintain an active and compelling social media presence.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, responding promptly and appropriately to maintain positive interactions with followers.
Analyze and optimize performance:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Sprout Social.
- Identify trends and insights from data analysis to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing campaigns for maximum impact.
- Continuously test and iterate on digital marketing tactics and strategies to improve effectiveness and ROI.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices:
- Keep abreast of developments in digital marketing, social media, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Attend industry conferences, webinars, and training sessions to expand knowledge and skills in digital marketing and social media management.
Collaborate cross-functionally:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content creation, design, and sales, to align digital marketing efforts with overall marketing initiatives and business goals.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed to execute digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and digital advertising platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and social media.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
