Desola Afod, the wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has once again defended her husband amidst cheating allegations.
Responding to a troll’s harsh comment on social media, Desola took the high road, turning the situation into a moment of “catching cruise” rather than letting it get to her.
This incident marks yet another instance where the celebrity wife has publicly stood by her husband despite rumors of infidelity.In a recent exchange on social media, Desola Afod faced a troll who criticized her over her husband’s alleged infidelity. The troll, hiding behind a fake account, accused her of being “too razz and senseless,” claiming that these were the reasons Kunle Afod had impregnated another woman in Mushin.
Rather than letting the negative comment affect her, Desola responded with humor and sarcasm. “Allow me to catch cruise with your comment. Oni fake account isonu. Thank you for the info. Next! Awon Mofos,” she wrote, brushing off the troll’s remarks with a witty comeback.
Following her response, many of Desola’s fans came to her defense, expressing their support and condemning the troll’s cruel words. One follower wrote,
Some people are just certified Oloriburuku walai. So her happiness is your problem? Boya ko ku o, if you are not ok with her post,” while another commented, “Some people need to be tracked down and dealt with. See the harsh comment.”
Kunle Afod, not one to stay silent, also addressed the rumors. In a statement on his Instagram page, he dismissed the claims, humorously suggesting that the women he was accused of impregnating must be “ghosts” since he has never met them.

Desola proudly reposted her husband’s statement, referring to him as the “Man of the Year” for handling the situation with grace and humour.
This incident isn’t the first time Desola has publicly supported her husband amid rumours of infidelity. Earlier this year, she responded to another troll who accused Kunle of having an affair with a woman in Ibadan, stating that she wouldn’t leave her husband, no matter the circumstances. In January, Desola was labeled as having “low self-esteem” after she openly declared that she would never leave Kunle, even if he cheated on her, explaining that leaving him wouldn’t guarantee that the next man would be faithful.
The couple’s marriage has faced challenges, with Desola hinting at marital trouble last year through a series of cryptic posts. She spoke about manipulation and the difficulty of forgiving someone who has disrespected her, though she made it clear that forgiveness does not necessarily mean trust should be restored.
Despite the ongoing rumors and public scrutiny, Desola and Kunle Afod continue to stand by each other, showing resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
