Job Description
Itekku is looking for a Dev Ops Manager who will be responsible for leading the DevOps teams in Lagos and other locations as needed. The Dev Ops Manager will be responsible for designing, building and operating the infrastructure and applications that support the company’s products, including continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring processes. The Dev Ops Manager will have a hybrid role, meaning that the role is located in Lagos, Nigeria but some remote work is possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps including infrastructure and application management, automation, and monitoring
- Experience with agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices
- Experience managing DevOps teams and executing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functional areas and organizational levels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, certification in AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus
- Strong working knowledge in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and/or related management and orchestration technologies
