Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at onfleekQ, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions to support the development, testing, and deployment of onfleekQ’s platform.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines to streamline the release process and ensure rapid and reliable deployments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement security best practices and measures to protect user data and infrastructure against security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring smooth operation of the platform.
- Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure services, such as AWS or Azure.
- Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
Key Deliverables
- Automated Deployment Pipelines: Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and pipelines for efficient and reliable releases.
- Infrastructure Configuration: Design and implement infrastructure configurations to support onfleekQ’s platform, including servers, databases, and networking components.
- Monitoring and Alerting Setup: Configure monitoring and alerting systems to track system performance, resource utilization, and uptime, enabling proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Security Measures: Implement security measures such as encryption, access controls, and threat detection mechanisms to safeguard user data and infrastructure.
- Documentation: Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.
Qualification
- Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
