Version 1 is looking for someone to take ownership of our online digital presence as a Digital Marketing Lead, using new and existing channels to support campaign objectives, optimize lead generation and build awareness of Version 1’s services. The role requires a solid understanding of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and tools, and the ability to leverage them to achieve business goals.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across various channels, including email, social media, PPC, SEO, display, and mobile.
- Lead the digital strategy across a portfolio of service & industry campaigns, working with Campaign and ABM Managers to establish how best to achieve revenue objectives.
- Monitor and optimize PPC campaigns to improve performance, increase ROI, and drive conversions.
- Manage, continuously improve, and optimize Version 1’s web presence and user experience.
- Work with both the content team and external agencies to progress SEO & keyword strategies that improve website ranking, traffic, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement content marketing strategies that align with the overall digital marketing plan and identify trends to drive forward in new directions.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, email design, and testing to optimize engagement and conversions.
- Design and oversee the day-to-day output across social channels. Continuously refine the social media strategy to increase engagement, reach, and visibility.
- Have excellent analytical & reporting skills on key performance metrics, including website traffic, user behaviour, conversion rates, and ROI, with the ability to identify performance issues and how to rectify these.
- Ensure proactive engagement with acquired companies to ensure their digital presence and brand are effectively integrated.
- Have familiarity with tools including, but not limited to, Google Analytics (Universal/GA4), HubSpot, WordPress, Google Search Console, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Click Dimensions & SEM Rush
- Manage and oversee budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve business goals.
- Manage a busy digital marketing team including members dedicated to social media and performance.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or ready with the ability to be a Digital Marketing Manager
- Expert understanding of analytics and data interpretation
- Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding and experience in working with PPC & paid social channels, particularly Google Ads & LinkedIn
- Innovative and creative thinker who can initiate and manage projects with outstanding execution.
- Leadership mindset with line management experience
- Experience of working in an IT, technology, or software-focused environment or on technology-related projects.
