Job Description
To be successful as an account relationship officer(Marketer), you should be persuasive and knowledgeable of the company’s products. Ultimately, an outstanding account relationship officer should have a strong work ethic and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills at all times.
Responsibilities
- Work: Account officers resume work latest 8:45 am, get settled before 9:00 am daily. The Company works Monday to Friday; however, you may also be required to work extra hours as and when required or dictated by either the nature or requirements of your job.
- know all the features and benefits of the company products and services in other to motivate customers to transact with the company efficiently
- Bringing in new product ideas that will be profitable to the organization
- It is a must for the Account relationship officer to meet up with monthly target as stated in the letter
- Timely follow-up with the customers to ensure they make payments into their account and meet up with their financial request
- All Account Relationship Officers are to resume work in the morning and report back to the office in the evening
- Proactively identify sales prospects and conduct business development activities in the geography assigned. Follow up on new leads and referrals to generate business
- Achieving the monthly sales targets assigned to him/her for various products and services
- Cross-sell assets and fee products
- Follow the various internal guidelines and procedures of the company
- Maintain periodic status reports, including daily activity reports and calls/follow-ups made
- Maintain good communication with the manager/management by preparing/approving daily, weekly and month-end reports regarding operations and productivity
Qualification
- You should at least have a National Diploma or relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of office administration and basic accounting/ bookkeeping practices.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office programs.
