Job Description
We’re currently looking to hire a direct sales executive with banking experience to source and persuade high-end retails and individual customers to invest in our product. The ideal candidate must be target & result-oriented, innovative, and detail-oriented with great communication skills. Also, you must cultivate new clientele regularly while increasing the number of treasury services taken up by clients.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a business plan for identified target market.
- Source for potential new high-end clients.
- Persuade them to invest.
- Maintain old and current deposit customers.
- Inform client of deposit status.
- Ensure the application for a fixed deposit account is correctly filled out and registered.
- Create and enhance new methods for rewarding interest to depositors.
- Develop and implement innovative, alluring value-added deposit products with the team to increase deposit mobilization, deposit retention, and withdrawal attrition.
- Participate in the creation of cutting-edge savings products that address customer needs.
- Develop and improve novel strategies for paying interest on time and fixed deposits to depositors.
- Ensure all deposit products are marketed and sold.
- Attain the quota and targets set for deposit mobilization and other duties.
- Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and yearly sales targets (Deposits and Loans).
- Canvassing assigned territories to present company products to potential customers.
- Assisting management in identifying viable marketing and pricing strategies.
- Attending trade shows and other industry-related events to help boost sales.
- Completing regular sales reports specifying the number of sales made.
- Demonstrating product features to customers.
- Contacting leads and setting up appointments to present company products.
- Completing request forms and submitting them for processing.
Qualifications
- National Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal oriented.
- Must have ability to manage a team.
- Must have knowledge in statistical analysis as used in and revenue generation.
- Must have proven ability to interact with high profile clients.
- Applicant must be creative, pro-active, have the ability to “think outside the box” and accept or create new ideas and take calculated risks on new products and process development.
- Proven track records of previous business opportunities and minimum of two years of professional experience.
