Grammy-winning artist Ed Sheeran recently shared an amusing anecdote about his experiences with Nigerian music sensation Damini “Burna Boy” Ogulu’s penchant for heavy marijuana consumption. Speaking on the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast, Sheeran, who has collaborated with Burna Boy on multiple occasions, expressed his surprise at encountering someone who indulges in pot as extensively as Burna Boy.
In the interview, Ed Sheeran recounted a studio session with Burna Boy, where he walked into an atmosphere saturated with marijuana smoke. Sheeran humorously described the scene, saying,
There’s an artiste that I work quite a lot with called Burna Boy. I would say he is… That’s the most I’ve seen anyone ingest weed.”
The ‘Shape Of You’ singer went on to narrate an incident when he entered the studio and found it enveloped in a thick haze of smoke, creating an ambiance so intense that it made him feel like he was “not quite there.
