Eight-storey building belonging to Joe Faraday’s site, which was under construction, reportedly collapsed in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos state, according to eyewitnesses yesterday.
It turned out that water was pouring on one of the floors when the building collapsed on Wednesday night.
A brief statement from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) indicates that workers are trapped inside the building.
NEMA noted that officials are mobilizing a rapid response team to rescue trapped victims.
