Emeka Rollas calls out colleagues over Regina Daniels in a strongly worded statement posted on his Instagram page, marking one of the rare moments the AGN president publicly comments on a member’s personal life. Rollas said he could no longer stay quiet while his name is constantly dragged into Regina’s marital drama with her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.

According to him, several well-known actors witnessed episodes involving Regina during their last shoot yet have refused to speak. He listed Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, and Sanni Danji as those who saw everything “with their own eyes,” insisting that their silence is unfair and leaves him exposed to accusations.

Rollas also recalled a moment during Regina’s son’s birthday where Nwoko openly expressed worry about her smoking habit, telling her that quitting could help her get the daughter she always wished for. The AGN president said he was not trying to shame her but believed she genuinely needed help, just like many other guild members who have been assisted in the past.

He further sent a message to Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, asking her to shift her attention away from the upcoming AGN election when her daughter’s home and wellbeing are under strain. Rollas also addressed the rumours about Nwoko funding AGN, clarifying that the widely circulated claim of a ₦200 million donation was false and that the money was meant for Regina’s film project, not the guild.

His statement also touched on his tenure, insisting he has served the guild with integrity and will not allow anyone to distort the truth or derail the transition process ahead of the December convention.

Not long after his statement spread online, Regina Daniels fired back. In a lengthy Instagram post, the actress called Rollas “a disgrace of a president,” accusing him of enriching himself while presenting his actions as service to the guild. She also claimed his anger toward her began when she stopped him from bringing women to her home for “swimming lessons.”

Regina said he had no right to speak about her family and noted that while her mother always respected him, she does not share that sentiment. According to her, Rollas contributed nothing meaningful to her career, yet her family gave him some of the biggest honours he enjoys today.

She also dismissed his comments about her mother’s political ambitions, arguing that Rita Daniels has earned her place in the industry and deserves to run.

While the online exchange continued, Regina appeared unfazed in her personal life. She has been spotted enjoying time with her family and singer Peter Okoye. Viral videos showed her dancing at a clothing store alongside her mother and siblings, a sight that triggered mixed reactions from fans.

Critics questioned her mother’s involvement, while others expressed concern about Regina’s wellbeing. Still, many commenters insisted she deserved happiness after all she has faced.

In recent weeks, Regina has released several posts describing how much comfort she draws from her family and supporters. She shared photos with her sisters, calling them her mother’s “three daughters,” and revealed how her younger sister makes her feel youthful again.

Her online activity follows earlier claims that she endured domestic violence in her marriage. In a widely circulated clip, she said she did not feel like a queen in her husband’s home.

Ned Nwoko later responded with a public statement of his own, alleging that Regina was struggling with drug and alcohol abuse and that his attempts to help her seek professional treatment had been sabotaged by friends and siblings. He accused some of them (including fellow actresses) of bringing her the same substances she was being treated for.
