Nollywood actress and filmmaker Eniola Ajao has taken to social media to express her emotional struggles, sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude despite her challenges.

Her candid post has drawn widespread support from her fans and industry colleagues.

Eniola Ajao, a prominent Yoruba actress and filmmaker, recently shared a poignant message on Instagram, revealing the personal difficulties she has been facing. In a somber photo of herself, Ajao conveyed her struggles while expressing gratitude for divine faithfulness. Her post read, “Been through a lot, but thank God for His faithfulness.”

The actress’s vulnerability resonated with many, prompting an outpouring of support from both fans and colleagues. Comments poured in from various figures, including Mo Bimpe, who praised Ajao’s strength, and influencer Enioluwa, who offered words of encouragement about the passage of seasons and eventual resolution.

Responses included:

– Mo Bimpe:“So proud of you. My strong woman. Lots of love, ma.”
– Kemity: “My love am with you always. It is well.”
– Enioluwa: “Seasons will come and go, but in his own time, he makes everything right. Sending you love.”
– Adeola Omooba: “Please take it easy. We won’t cry over you, IJN. Move close to God Almighty; He is the only saviour who loves us genuinely. Love you sis.”
– Donna Fair Lady: “God will come through for you, IJN. Stay strong for yourself and yours.”

Ajao’s year has been notably challenging, marked by the release of her debut cinema movie which stirred controversy. The film premiere was especially notable for the backlash she received after naming Bobrisky, a Nigerian crossdresser, as the Best Dressed Female. Ajao later admitted in an interview with Arise News TV that this choice was a calculated publicity stunt intended to generate buzz for her movie.

Acknowledging the backlash, Ajao rectified the situation by awarding two attendees, Bose Alao and another individual, as Best Dressed Female, each receiving one million naira. This gesture was part of her effort to mend the situation and continue promoting her film.
