Nollywood star Eniola Badmus has tendered a heartfelt apology to fellow actress Biodun Okeowo, widely known as Omoborty, after receiving a touching birthday message from her.

Eniola, who recently celebrated her birthday, took to the comment section of Biodun’s post to appreciate her kind words and acknowledge her own shortcoming in keeping the friendship close.

Thank you so much, sis mi; I know I say I dey guilty, but I go redirect,” Eniola wrote, signaling her intention to reconnect with her colleague.

Omoborty, showing no hard feelings, responded warmly, affirming that Eniola remains family for life. “You are omo iyee mi for life,” she commented in Yoruba, making it clear that their bond remains strong despite any distance.

This exchange came just as Eniola marked her birthday with a reflective message of gratitude and prayers. In her note to her heavenly father, Eniola expressed her desire for wisdom to make the right choices, patience to weather life’s challenges, and a heart full of compassion. She also took the opportunity to thank God for the milestones she has achieved and the person she is becoming, stating, “I appreciate my journey and the countless blessings from my Maker.”

In another post, Eniola prayed for clarity of purpose and the courage to follow the path set out for her, releasing any fear or anxiety about the future. She conveyed her trust in God’s plan, believing that something beautiful is being prepared for her life.

Despite her busy schedule, Eniola continues to maintain her connections with loved ones. It’s no surprise that her demanding role as the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Social Events and Public Hearings has taken much of her time. Appointed in May, Eniola expressed her gratitude to Speaker Abbas for entrusting her with such a prestigious role. She resumed her duties in July, sharing moments from her work, including a meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja.

Though her government position has introduced new challenges, Eniola remains committed to both her career and her relationships. In a candid moment on Snapchat, the actress revealed that her workload has been overwhelming, but her determination to balance her responsibilities shines through.
