Former Arsenal midfielder, Ray Parlour has urged manager Mikel Arteta to start goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale ahead of David Raya in a goal against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Arsenal will host Tottenham in a Premier League derby this weekend at Emirates Stadium.
However, Ramsdale did not feature in Arsenal’s last two matches against Everton in the Premier League and PSV in the Champions League as Arteta opted for Raya.
Speaking ahead of the Tottenham clash, Parlour believes Ramsdale should regain his spot in the starting XI against Spurs because he has not done wrong.
“I would go Ramsdale. I would go Ramsdale but if Raya does come in again against Spurs, he won’t let them down,” Parlour said on talkSPORT (via HITC).
