Erica Herman Drops $30 Million Lawsuit Against Tiger Woods’s Estate

Tiger Woods’s ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, has reportedly decided to drop her $30 million lawsuit against the PGA Tour star’s estate. The legal action, filed in October, accused Woods of using trickery to force her out of their shared mansion in Hobe Sound, Florida, following their breakup.

According to court documents obtained by the New York Post, Herman dismissed the case against the Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust, the legal owner of Woods’s mansion. The lawsuit claimed that Herman should have been allowed to live in the home for an additional five years based on an “oral tenancy agreement” and asserted that she suffered severe emotional damages as a result of the alleged deception.

A hearing scheduled for August has been cancelled, following the filing on June 29, where Herman dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice. The dismissal came shortly after she filed a second appeal to lift a 2017 NDA related to a sexual harassment claim.

Earlier this year, a Florida state judge twice rejected Herman’s case against the 15-time Major winner, ruling in favour of Woods. His legal team disputed the existence of any tenancy agreement and argued that Herman lived at the property as a guest.

Woods and Herman were in a relationship for six years before their breakup in October, and the legal battles over their former shared residence have drawn significant attention. With the lawsuit now dropped, the situation comes to a close, allowing both parties to move forward separately.
