We are excited to announce an open position for a Facility Manager at Imperial Gate School Lekki. Our school is renowned for providing high-quality education and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for our students.
Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of custodial staff and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Developing and implementing a preventive maintenance plan to keep the facility in top condition.
- Managing budgets for facility maintenance.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external contractors, for repair and maintenance tasks.
- Implementing safety measures and emergency protocols to ensure the well-being of all occupants.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Keeping records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and repairs.
Qualification
- A related Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience as a Facility Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of maintenance and facility management best practices.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using computer and facility management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
