Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has promised that he will not abandon any projects while in office.
Wike promised that the FCT Administration would guarantee that all regions inside the nation’s capital territory have adequate road networks and other essential infrastructure.
On Wednesday, the minister announced that the building of the access road from Arterial Road N11 within Cadastral Zone B07, Katampe District, Abuja, has begun.
He stressed that the access road would not only enhance living conditions in the neighbouring regions but would also raise property values and commercial activity in the area.
According to Wike:
“We will not rest until we see all the districts are connected with good roads. A good network of roads makes a city very clear.
“No project under our tenure will stay beyond us. Every project we award, by the grace of God, I will make sure that we finish those projects.
“We are not going to leave any abandoned project for anybody. We are not going to leave projects where there will be variation or augmentation. Our own time is nothing like variation. Nothing like augmentation.”
