Are you detail-oriented with a knack for field data collection/market research? We’re seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Field Market Researcher specialising in construction materials. This individual will focus on gathering data firsthand by physically visiting various locations, such as retail stores, markets, or distribution centers, to collect information on product prices, availability, and other relevant market data.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site visits to retail stores, markets, and other relevant locations to observe and record the prices of specified goods and services.
- Use mobile devices or data collection tools to accurately capture pricing information, product details, and other relevant data points.
- Maintain organized records and documentation of all collected data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide regular updates on field research progress and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse pricing data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
- Familiarity with construction materials and pricing dynamics.
- Proven experience in market research, data collection, or fieldwork.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations (travel expense paid) as required for field research assignments.
