Job Description

Financial Officer is responsible for assisting in the financial operations of the terminal. Managing records and receipts. Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions. while also ensuring that the terminal complies with the regulatory and other established standards.

Responsibilities

•  Develop financial policies to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels at the terminal
• Ensure all internal controls set up for the terminal are duly followed
• Conduct periodic financial analyses, to identify and resolve issues, gaps or variances.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, invoices, proposals, etc as required.
• Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely.
• Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.
• Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers.

 Qualifications

• Minimum of a degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Must have a solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Must have excellent analytical, attention to detail and numerical skills
• Must have experience using financial software
• Must have MS Excel skills
