Food critic Opeyemi Famakin has made serious allegations against Cubana Chiefpriest following a review of his restaurant in Imo State.
While Famakin praised the restaurant’s interior decor and the quality of local dishes, he took issue with the handling of the pastries, particularly a microwaved burger that he felt lost its original taste.
In his review, Famakin suggested that the restaurant should use an oven or heated lamps to keep burgers warm rather than microwaving them. Despite the critique, he noted that Cubana Chiefpriest responded graciously in the public comments, thanking him for his visit.
However, the situation took a dramatic turn when Famakin received a private message from Cubana Chiefpriest. In the message, Cubana Chiefpriest appeared to express anger, hinting at potential consequences for Famakin’s review and invoking the idea of karma.
Famakin shared a screenshot of the message, expressing his concern for his safety and suggesting that if anything were to happen to him, Cubana Chiefpriest would be held accountable. He attached a note to his post, indicating his intention to leave Imo State due to these threats and highlighting the discrepancy between Cubana Chiefpriest’s public and private responses.
