In a recent interview with Big Brother Naija star Kim Oprah, comedian Emmanuel Chukwuebuka Amuzie, popularly known as Brainjotter, opened up about his humble beginnings and the challenges he faced on his journey to stardom.
Kim Oprah shared a 2019 video of Brainjotter, capturing the comedian in the early stages of his career. Reflecting on the past, Brainjotter revealed the significant transformation he underwent after 2020, transitioning from having no heroes to becoming an inspiration to others.
The comedian disclosed that before gaining admission to the University of Lagos in 2020, he worked as a laundry worker to make ends meet. At that time, he earned a meager N15,000. Undeterred by his circumstances, Brainjotter continued his hustle and later became a bedbug killer vendor in the following year, witnessing an increase in his income to N30,000.
He emphasized that before his skits went viral, this was his highest salary. Today, Brainjotter is recognized as one of Nigeria’s highest-earning skit makers.
