Fuji Legends Pasuma and Taye Currency Reconcile During Umrah

It’s a joyous moment for fans of Fuji music as two iconic figures, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and Taye Akande Adebisi, better known as Taye Currency, put their differences aside and reconciled.

The feud between the two musicians had been brewing since last year when Taye accused Pasuma of copying Obesere’s style in the early days of his career. Taye also expressed frustration over the lack of respect he felt he received within the Fuji community due to his loyalty to Pasuma, stating that it was harming his brand.

Pasuma, deeply offended by Taye’s remarks, voiced his disappointment over what he saw as ingratitude.

Their differences were resolved thanks to the intervention of Killington and Fuji legend K1. During a live performance, Taye Currency apologized to Pasuma, who graciously accepted the gesture.

This reconciliation was sealed recently during their pilgrimage to Mecca for Umrah. A video circulating online shows the duo in a hotel room, embracing peace while performing their religious rites.

Fans flooded social media with messages of joy and support:

  • “Alhamdulillah! This is beautiful to see.”

  • “Nice one! God bless Alhaji Pasuma.”

  • “Wallahi, I’m so happy to witness this moment.”

Pasuma’s dedication to fostering peace is not new. Just last year, he reconciled with fellow Fuji star Saheed Osupa following the death of Pasuma’s mother. Saheed’s condolence visit to Pasuma’s Omole residence led to the duo rekindling their friendship, a move celebrated across the Fuji music community.
