Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has expressed her heartfelt condolences to the victims of the recent explosion in Ibadan, Oyo State.

What I have seen since last night is beyond words, and I pray that God gives everyone affected the fortitude to bear this unimaginable loss. The explosion occurred in the Bodija area of Ibadan, causing panic among residents and resulting in property damage. Preliminary investigations by security agencies have suggested that the explosion was caused by explosive devices stored by illegal miners. The incident has led to an outpouring of sympathy and concern from individuals, including celebrities, as the community grapples with the aftermath of the tragedy.
