Nollywood actress and former deputy governorship candidate Funke Akindele has disclosed why she stopped using Twitter after her electoral defeat.
During the election, voters in Funke’s polling unit defeated her as she contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In response to a fan’s inquiry about her absence from Twitter, she revealed that the constant insults and negativity on the app made her stay away.
It’s unclear whether or not she’ll return to Twitter, but Akindele’s dedication to her acting career remains unwavering.
