Funsho Adeoti, the estranged wife of Kazim Adeoti, recently addressed the public following Kazim’s comments about her 50th birthday celebration.
The businessman, who is now married to Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, had faced criticism after being absent from Funsho’s birthday party.
Kazim Adeoti responded to the backlash by issuing a statement explaining that he had provided financial and moral support for her birthday and noted that despite not attending the party, he maintains a cordial relationship with Funsho. He also claimed that they had exchanged birthday greetings privately.
Unbothered by his remarks, Funsho took to Instagram to share an appreciation post, thanking friends, family, and loved ones for their overwhelming support. In her heartfelt message, she expressed gratitude for the birthday wishes, prayers, and love she received, emphasizing how much it meant to her during this significant milestone.
Funsho’s post comes after years of public scrutiny surrounding her separation from Kazim Adeoti. The couple, who were married for nearly two decades, experienced a highly publicized split after Kazim’s relationship with Mercy Aigbe became public. Despite the separation, Funsho clarified that they are not officially divorced but remain separated.
In 2022, Funsho called out her husband and Mercy Aigbe, demanding that they remove photos taken in the house she partly owns. Kazim, however, refuted her claims, stating that he solely financed and built the house, with Mercy contributing to its furnishings.
