Funsho Adeoti, the senior wife of popular Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, has made a notable return to Nigeria, sparking excitement and curiosity among her followers.
The mother of four, who resides in the United States, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on life, comparing it to a movie where one must write their own ending. Her post, accompanied by a video of her on a plane, emphasized that there’s truly no place like home.
Life’s like a movie; write your own ending. No place like home,” Funsho Adeoti captioned the video.
Her followers were quick to fill the comment section with welcoming messages. Tina Ajibola Fabs wrote, “Welcome home,” while Layos Perfumery complimented her, saying, “Fine woman.” Another follower, Joyce Momodu Adi, added, “Welcome home, ma’am.”
Other fans continued to shower her with praises and well-wishes. Creamy Mosun07 commented, “Welcome home, aunty mi toh,” and Sugar Flakky added, “Life is beautiful. Keep shining, mama.” Bridgetoso chimed in with, “Welcome home, gorgeous.”
Funsho’s return to Nigeria has also led to some speculation among fans. One curious follower questioned whether her arrival was linked to recent love declarations made by Mercy Aigbe towards their shared husband, Kazim Adeoti. Earlier, Mercy had posted a heartfelt message to Kazim, describing him as the best husband and partner, and promising to love him till eternity.
In response, Kazim Adeoti expressed his love for Mercy in the comment section of her post. This led one fan to speculate,

Another fan, Ebube Chukwu Umeh, playfully hailed Funsho as the “real d owner,” writing, “D owner is around. The most beautiful.”
The dynamics between Funsho Adeoti, Kazim Adeoti, and Mercy Aigbe have been under public scrutiny since 2022, when Mercy Aigbe publicly acknowledged her relationship with Kazim, who shares four children with Funsho. Despite the heavy criticism and backlash they faced, Mercy and Kazim’s relationship seems to have grown stronger.
Last year, Funsho Adeoti reflected on the state of her marriage, revealing that February 15th would have marked their 20th wedding anniversary. She expressed gratitude for life, despite their separation, and noted that she and Kazim were not officially divorced but just separated.
In 2022, Funsho publicly called out Kazim and Mercy Aigbe, demanding that they remove all photos from a house she claimed was partially hers. She also expressed regret about her marriage to Kazim, stating she wouldn’t hesitate to tell the world the truth.
Kazim Adeoti, however, countered her claims by stating that he built the house entirely on his own, without any financial contribution from Funsho, and added that Mercy Aigbe also furnished the house.
