Job Summary:

As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and scaling OK MFB. You will be responsible for setting up the bank’s operations, developing and refining our products, building strategic partnerships, and overseeing day-to-day activities. Your goal is to guide the bank from its initial stages to a fully operational entity within the next 6 months. You will also be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team to support our mission and vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish Bank Operations:Develop and implement operational strategies to launch and scale OK MFB.
  • Set up efficient processes and systems for banking operations, including compliance, risk management, and customer service.
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of banking products and services.
  • Team Building and Management:Recruit, hire, and train the initial team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
  • Product Development and Innovation:Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and refine banking products and services.
  • Ensure products meet customer needs and market demands, leveraging technology to enhance offerings.
  • Partnership Development:Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance the bank’s market presence and operational capabilities.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology providers, and other partners.
  • Reporting and Communication:Prepare and present regular reports on bank performance, strategic initiatives, and key metrics to the Board of Directors and Managing Director.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the bank’s objectives.
  • Operational Oversight:Manage daily operations of the bank, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Monitor and optimize operational performance, addressing any issues that arise promptly. GENERAL MANAGER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in banking, Fintech, financial services, or a related industry, with a track record of leadership and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, product development, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and lead a team effectively.
  • Tech-savvy with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
