Nigerian actor Gideon Okeke has called on single mothers to be considerate. He said they should allow their children to have a relationship with their fathers. In a series of posts on his Instagram stories, the actor lamented that many men were being punished by their exes by preventing them from seeing their children.
Gideon recently went public with his divorce from his ex-wife and the mother of his two children. He expressed concern about fathers being denied access to their children. Gideon asked single mothers to remember that they did not acquire their children from a store or trees but rather through a mutual relationship.
He pointed out that the children ultimately suffered from the lack of a relationship with their fathers.
