Job Description
River Global is a well-established international trade, marketing, and consulting firm, now in its 22nd year. Our headquarters are in São Paulo, Brazil, but our reach is truly global. We excel in assisting organizations—ranging from companies to government and non-governmental entities—in establishing or expanding their presence worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients in navigating the Sub-Saharan African markets
- Foster new business opportunities and manage negotiations
- Conduct market research and prepare monthly reports
- Organize meetings with executives, government officials, federations, and associations
- Represent the company and its clients at local and international trade events
- Contribute to mission support through report writing, call handling, and buyer follow-up
- Cater to the diverse needs of our clients
- Identify and qualify potential leads, and conduct meetings
Qualification
- Advanced/Fluent in English, with Spanish and/or Portuguese being a bonus
- Proactive in identifying and solving potential issues, with a readiness to voice concerns and propose solutions
- Capable of collaborative work with colleagues from diverse accounts and countries
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and prioritization skills for managing projects
- Hands-on and results-focused, with excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Access to a computer and a stable internet connection for hybrid working arrangements
- Open to learning new skills for continuous adaptation
