Ossai Ovie Success, the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, has accused the organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 10 of manipulating the final votes to favour Imisi over Dede.
After 92 days in the house, Imisi was announced as the winner of the show on Sunday night, beating Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Kaybobo, and Isabella to claim the ₦159 million grand prize.
Reacting to the outcome on his Instagram page, Ossai, a strong supporter of Dede, alleged that the organisers deliberately prevented another Delta State contestant from winning, following last year’s victory of Kellyrae, who also hails from Delta.
According to him, Dede was unfairly robbed despite being one of the most loved housemates of the season. He further disclosed plans to take legal action on her behalf.
“Dede was robbed by BBNaija organisers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year. They didn’t want another Delta contestant to win this year.
She deserves to be the winner, not just because she’s from Delta, but because she made viewers proud.
I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on her behalf because the voting was rigged,” he said.
The governor’s aide added that he would be consoling himself by supporting Chef Nnagbogu Ifeyinwa Reetaz Kitchen, who will be cooking the longest bole at the Bole Feast in Asaba later this month, while planning to host Dede in Delta.
Ossai Ovie Success is no stranger to controversy, as he often comments on trending issues involving celebrities. Over the years, he has publicly criticised figures such as Bobrisky, Portable, Sophia Momodu, Rema, Ini Edo, 2Baba, and Charles Okocha, for actions he described as morally or socially questionable.
