Identify, research, and analyze potential grant opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, private foundations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and analyze potential grant opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, private foundations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
- Develop and submit compelling grant proposals that clearly articulate the foundation’s programs, impact, and financial needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant applications and funding received.
- Manage and report on grant compliance requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct ongoing research on grants, CSR initiatives, and funding opportunities relevant to RMF’s mission and objectives.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the grant landscape, including new funding sources, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with potential grantors and funding partners.
- Represent RMF professionally and effectively at various events, meetings, and conferences.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Public Administration, International Development, or a related Social Science discipline.
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or funding source research, or project management, and in a non-profit organization
- Proven track record of successfully securing grants and managing projects in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
- Must reside in Lagos
