A wave of terror has struck Zamfara State as gunmen abducted 46 residents from the Bungudu Local Government Area.
The attackers, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the community in the early hours of the day, forcing villagers out of their homes and into the forest.
Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants fired sporadically, creating panic and chaos. The victims, including mostly women and children, were taken away to an unknown location.
