Orji Uzor Kalu, Senator for Abia North, has said that President Bola Tinubu travels about Abuja at night to see what is going on.

According to Uzor Kalu, Tinubu, whom he describes as a street person, is aware of the country’s shaky economy.

Tinubu goes at night to sense the pulse of the people and is working to fix Nigeria’s difficulties, according to the legislator.

Senator Uzor Kalu revealed this on Thursday’s edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today, asserting that the President drives about in one or two automobiles to monitor what is going on.

According to Uzor Kalu:

“The president himself knows that Nigerians are suffering and hungry. He is a street person; he knows the street very well.

“The president some nights uses his car to go around and know what is happening in Abuja here.

“The president goes around with one or two cars and sees what is happening. He is not a president that is locked up in the room,” the former Abia State Governor said.
