Job Description
To develop and drive the strategy for the Proprietary Trading Division (Fixed Income and Equities Desk) ensuring that all set targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Strategizing with brokers and other traders for optimal trading
- Identifying and managing risk in trade portfolios
- Maximise trading opportunities in the market
- Ability to make quick decisions based on policy reforms and changes in the market
- Ensure compliance with all internal, statutory, and regulatory rules
- Coordinate other with remembers of the PTD team
Qualifications
- First degree in any relevant field
- Class of degree – First Class or Second Class Upper
- Must possess a Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers Certificate
- Minimum of 7-9 years experience
- Must be trading personally (risk taker)
- Excellent communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team
