HOSPITALITY OPERATIONS MANAGER-VACANCY AT 16/16

Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Manager to help us build and maintain our operations. This shared role involves driving performance improvements across the hotel and guest relations areas. It’s a unique opportunity to develop scalable solutions to operational problems, and see your impact daily.

Responsibilities

16/16 Boutique Hotel

• Oversee guest relations and room bookings.
• Ensure quality control across all guest relations and backend processes: housekeeping, laundry, breakfast, security, parking.
• Handle logistics related to running a hotel: procurement, coordination, Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage a small housekeeping team.
• Liaise with accounts team regarding billing and accounts.

Experiences

• Manage backend operations related to our bar and Friends of 16 membership program.
• Handle booking and coordination of space rentals and events.
• Maintain client and vendor relations.
• Handle limited project and event management.
• Oversee billing.

Planning and Admin

• Assist management in budgeting and financial planning for all 16/16 projects related to the role.

16/16 Store

• Upload experiences and shop items to website.
• Liaise with accounts team on collecting payments.
• Manage customers visiting the space to make purchases.

Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all spaces.

Communication

• Ensure seamless operations by identifying and bridging any gaps in communication between departments.

• Experience with hospitality and team management.
• A hustler who doesn’t back down from challenges.
• Analytical thinker.
• Highly personable and openly communicative.
• Self-starter who takes initiative.
• Detail and process-oriented.
• Committed to high service standards.
• Enjoys connecting things and creating networks.
• Creative, or appreciates creativity and the concept of play.

Skills Required

• Team management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Notion.
• Graphic design or creative skills are encouraged but not mandatory.
