Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Business Analyst to play a crucial role in bridging the gap between HR and our consulting services by leveraging data analytics and insights to enhance HR processes and strategies.
Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making in areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
2. Recruitment/Staffing Process support
- Collaborate with client HR teams to evaluate and enhance recruitment processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
- Offer strategic guidance and work on recruitment strategies, including candidate sourcing, screening, and selection methodologies and report documentation
3. Process Improvement:
- Evaluate existing HR processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement streamlined processes to enhance HR operations and increase overall efficiency.
4. Project Management:
- Lead or contribute to HR-related projects such as system implementations, process redesigns, or policy changes.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful project execution.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR business partners, recruiters, compensation and benefits specialists, and other relevant stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
6. Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on HR-related laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure that HR systems and processes adhere to legal standards.
7. Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to HR staff on new systems, processes, or tools implemented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1 year to 2 years post NYSC experience.
- Must be done with NYSC service
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with HR systems and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Project management or consulting experience is often preferred.
